I am a lover of life. Learning new things and meeting new people renews my spirit and gives me great joy. I’ve been a national sales manager for a pharmaceutical company, a business manager for an auto dealer, and a professional philanthropist and volunteer.
I’ve also had cancer twice. My daughter has cystic fibrosis and my son is autistic. My husband is a diabetic disabled veteran. We have our hands full, but we laugh every single day!
Over the years, I’ve realized how important it is to tell the truth. Being true to yourself and being candid about your experiences is such a freeing experience. That’s why I started this blog.
I am a jack of all trades and just as likely to tell you about skincare as I am to tell you how to install a toilet. I’ve done lots of home improvement projects, been skydiving, had a song that I wrote and sang on the radio, and now dabble in photography and videography.
We have a lot of animals! A dog, an african grey parrot, a rabbit, and four chickens. We love them all dearly.
I hope that you will find my posts insightful and amusing. If not, you’re probably a douchebag anyway…so just move on. As always, be true, and be you.
